Kim Kardashian is opening up about her psoriasis. The reality star and SKIMS founder has always been honest and forthright about her struggles with the skin condition, but now she’s sharing how psoriasis almost ruined her 2022 Met Gala appearance.<\/p>\n
Kim Kardashian recently appeared on the SHE MD<\/em> podcast to discuss all things psoriasis. (If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a skin disease that causes red, itchy, scaly patches on the skin; these patches may be painful or give off a burning sensation.)<\/p>\n According to the star, she typically sees flare-ups on her legs and stomach, but when it’s \u201creally bad,\u201d it can pop up on her butt and even on her face too. It was a spot near her eye that nearly impacted her appearance at the Met Gala.<\/p>\n Getty Images<\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n \u201cWhen I started to get a little bit desperate was when it started to cover my face, and there was a spot really close to my eye, and it would just burn a little bit,\u201d she explained in the podcast episode. \u201cI remember I had the Met Ball coming up that week, and it was covering my face.\u201d Kardashian said it could<\/em> have been due to stress that caused the flare, but added, \u201cI think I manage my stress pretty well, so it’s shocking to me.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Kim Kardashian is opening up about her psoriasis.
